How we check codes
The weekday routine: pull, type, print the date, take down on time.
Every weekday morning, before anything new goes on the page, the same routine runs. This is it.
Pull the feeds
We collect the day’s offers from retailers’ affiliate programme feeds and drop anything that is not a real discount for a US shopper: foreign-currency offers, restricted categories, duplicates, plain links pretending to be codes.
Type the code
A person opens the retailer’s site, puts an item in the basket and types the code. If the discount does not appear, the code is not published. Titles are rewritten so they say what the saving actually is.
Print the date
The card gets the day it was tested, the retailer’s end date (or “no end date given”) and the main condition in one line: minimum spend, exclusions, new customers only.
Take it down on time
On its end date an offer leaves every live list. It sits in a labelled “recently expired” area for a few days so you can see what changed, then it is deleted. A code you report as dead is re-typed the same day and removed if it has stopped working.
Never printed on DealFrugal: star ratings, “verified today” badges, usage counters, or prices we have not seen.
